No photographic evidence but I thought I’d share what happened IRL…
A couple of days ago I went into a liquor store close to work. I asked the liquor store clerk if they sold bitters.
“Is that a beer?”
We Googled it and he did help me look around, but that liquor store, indeed, does not sell any bitters. Nor does it teach its liquor-selling employees what bitters are. I left embittered.

Some of the fire damage at Gordon Hirabayashi. To add insult to injury Madam Mrs the Ratel found a cigarette butt by the path.
Sheriff’s forensic unit in the parking lot investigating a break-in. There were so many trucks I thought there was going to be a body on one of the paths.

Botanical gardens in the winter are the best! You enter the lobby and immediately feel like you’ve entered a sauna. If you’re wearing glasses, they fog up. And then you hang up your coat, hat, scarf, gloves, etc. and clomp through the rooms in your snow boots, totally forgetting how freezing and lifeless it is outside for the duration of your time inside.
One of the better inventions of humankind.
