I like how the Miracle Water (c) he sells has a diclaimer of “don’t drink the water!”

He’s only doing what the gospel tells him.

His son said this recently…

Popoff’s son Nick also suggested that living well is a requirement for the Gospel the family preaches.

“We are a prosperity ministry that preaches prosperity,” he said. “We preach financial blessings. God has prospered us.”

Man, just think if Jesus had thought to sell all those loaves and fishes he could have paid off Judas and started an entertainment empire in Judea.

And use part of the proceeds to move into politics. He could have been proconsul in no time!

On the way back by this afternoon they added a huge trump won flag.

The funny thing is, just past that house was a lemonade stand but now I’m wondering if they were passing out kool-aid.

Re: the warnings on the right end of the fence, speaking for myself the rest of the yard accouterments already suffice as a deterrent.

I figure it’s really there to warn vandals. Same with the house here in Maryland that put up a big campaign sign for Herschel Walker.

Not my usual station but caught the sun at a good moment coming up the escalator.

Ah, Melbourne Central Station. Not the worst of the City Loop, and the only one to have had a Jacky Chan movie filmed in it. (Mr Nice Guy, 1997)

I’m not a big fan of Jackfruit. The smell and taste are very sweet, especially when they are very ripe.

I could be wrong, but it’s not common to find this fruit in grocery stores and supermarkets around here. I usually find jackfruit at street markets or at street vendor stalls. It’s always very cheap, as we have trees scattered throughout the city. There are basically two varieties around here: the hard and the soft one.

People usually eat jackfruit raw or prepared as jam.

Congratulations to your daughter. She is very brave. I would be intimidated if I saw a jackfruit for the first time.

The fruit itself.

Not the easiest pic to take, but a mural at The Precarious Beer Project, a Williamsburg, VA brewery. It envisions founding father, George Washington as Mario character.

Continuing the discussion from People hate just sitting and thinking so much they'd rather shock themselves:

I returned to the same building today. While there, I wanted to see whether the touch-screen building directory had been locked down or not:

Never seen flavored cottage cheese before. Cloudberry AKA nordic berry, bakeapple (in Newfoundland and Labrador), knotberry and knoutberry (in England), aqpik or low-bush salmonberry (in Alaska – not to be confused with salmonberry, Rubus spectabilis), and averin or evron (in Scotland) flavor if you are wondering.

A huge tree in the park near us came down over the weekend or early in the week. The roots broke pretty close to the surface so it must’ve been pretty rotten. Somehow Washington Irving was mostly spared, except a crack in his base. (he’s a popular pee spot for humans and animals alike, so injury to insult I suppose)
