I didn’t get a picture, because I was driving and there was a lot of traffic, but I saw a big pickup truck in downtown Newark yesterday that had a bumper sticker that actually said, “REAL MEN DRIVE TRUCKS” and it just made me laugh uncontrollably. Like, leaving aside for the moment the issue of men who drive big trucks like that to begin with, what was he thinking by putting that sticker on it? What message does he imagine that actually sends to people? Because it’s not what he thinks it is. Anyway, I just found it hilarious, and I probably laughed way too hard at it, but it seriously set me off on a several minutes long laughing fit.
