After a very warm September, we’re just beginning to get some Fall color in the Twin Cities.
Here’s the Mississippi River, seen from the St Paul side, looking north at the Lake St Bridge. You see the downtown Minneapolis skyline on the horizon.
The bike path is next to the street, and directly across the street from where I was standing is Governor Walz and family’s temporary home, Eastcliff. (The traditional Governor’s Residence, on Summit Ave, has been undergoing some structural repair.) There are barricades all around Eastcliff now, and Secret Service are parked there watching everything. I wanted to turn and take a photo of that, but didn’t, for fear that I’d feel a tap on my shoulder and have my phone confiscated or something.
I could barely see anything with my eyes.

Woohoo! North Alabama! Barely visible to the naked eye–just a hint of a pink smear–but the camera could see it just fine.

Our daughter and her husband are on a road trip to see the Pandas in Atlanta before they get shipped back.
There was a bad accident on 75 that shut the freeway down.
She said the detour took them through backwoods Tennessee.
They passed the first sign and were happy. But then the next attraction. She asked if I wanted any souvenirs.
Can get anyone anything from the super store?
