Are those Pith Helmets DOT certified?

I’m glad this episode came out right when the NYTs put out a big article on Amelia Earhart, as amazing as Earhart is I’m sometimes annoyed of the degree to which she overshadows the many other amazing women explorers of the late 19th and early 20th century.

Are those Pith Helmets Snell certified? And more importantly, what was their choice of motorcycle?
