I’ve been attracted to glitch art for a long time, maybe longer than the name itself has been in use. There’s something so captivating about how when the technology that underpins our world has a hiccup, these sorts of images can emerge.

The “volumetric snowstorm” image in the article reminds me of what you get in Blender if you use the high quality “Cycles” renderer, but set the number of samples very low.

I love that each one comes with a process statement. This really elevates this from ganked-image listicle to gallery status.
