When you say

you’re not doing full justice to everything that happened. Facebook was a bit of a comic sideshow here - the ISPs were the real main event, and they did provide many responses to the consultation. Some of them even real arguments, even if you and I would disagree with the premises they’re arguing from, or with their conclusions.

I’m sure FB’s hamfisted moves didn’t help their cause any, but it wasn’t the only game here…
