It was pretty obvious to everyone from the day it was announced… The only question was, what was the exact nature of the scam.
I for one saw the QHD display on a 250 rupee phone and thought “something here’s terribly wrong”.

On the other hand, here’s a politician accusing without offering evidence. Makes me wonder who pissed off whom.
A bunch of politicians went to the (rather flashy) launch, where the promoters claimed that the whole thing was backed by the government. Everyone started asking inconvenient questions, so the minister got involved.
