They are! The amount of handwork required to do these would be… it would take a lot of manhours.
I’m torn. There is something about wood that lends itself to the imperfections of the carvers tools and hands. Detailed woodwork has always evoked the hands that worked it, to me. Similar to printing (offset, letterpress, etc) where the introduction of laser cutting has fairly revolutionized a craft/trade, I am sure it’s for the best.
