Well rideshare was a great idea until capitalism got a hold of it.

These firms are playing massive economic games, but render themselves thoroughly vulnerable to smaller, local and reliable firms. I use one to go to the airport and back with my (little) kids, and they’re a real pleasure. 25% more, but fuck Uber. I ride in style and ease.
Self-driving cars are going to destroy the Ubers of the world. It’s that simple.
They’ll be too busy destroying mailboxes and old ladies with walkers.
It’s articles like this that make me happy that my city (Munich, Germany) never let Uber do business. It’s outright forbidden except for Uber Black, and even that isn’t working out for them. Socialism has its benefits, which is why this expatriate is remaining an expatriate.
