… but it’s hard to beat all the free music lessons available on YouTube.

I think you may also find that a lot of musicians are giving lessons via zoom/skype/etc, since all of their gigs, tours, etc., have been canceled.

No, the time to learn to play guitar was long ago. It is now too late. Pick a hobby that is more achievable. Yahtzee, for example.
If I had to pick a time as the right time, it would have been the 70’s.
Also, you will not now, nor ever be … an astronaut.
