Well, he’s an active part of their marketing and has been for years. He makes appearances and he also isn’t JUST the voice of Mario, he’s the voice of about twenty of the Mario-franchise characters, including Luigi, Waluigi, Wario and a ton more, including the voices of in Punch-Out. While he’s done acting in a few movies and TV, he spends a lot more time doing Mario, since he is the voice in both Japan and the US and has been for over 20 years now.
