I thought about collecting some moss last year by my office to look for these critters. I do have a patch of nostoc/cyanobacteria/star jelly I am growing - there might be some in there?

There might be some in there, OR, you could collect some in moss or lichen and keep them alive by feeding them your cyanobacteria! I collected mine on my balcony, of all places!

If you want a sample I got some petri dishes and googly eyes. I call them Blobbies. PROBABLY not aliens.
