Please continue to follow this thread, I want to know more.

Ultimately, I understand that carrying around a phone exposes me up to all manner of security and tracking issues. This is the cost of convenience.

But I don’t have to leave the damn thing on all the time

This is great! The makers of these apps should read this report and incorporate all these successful attacks into their detection scheme. Phone apps are reliably updated so I’m fairly sure who will win this game of cat and mouse.
