I’ve got to say, I have read Slashdot for many years to keep up with a variety of geek news. And EVERY TIME I comment in that system I regret it. Every single response is always SUPER aggressive. Just shitting on every response, tearing down every opinion etc. Personal attacks.
And to top it of they have a nazi problem with racist trollies with giant ascii flags that take up pages etc.
Not everybody here agrees with me, and that’s totally fine - it’s all the tone, and I think the moderation system and the demographic makes a big difference.
All that to say, good job, mods and editors and especially other readers
