This is awesome! But Shakespeare already has plenty of horror baked in for those bold enough to embrace it.
Hamlet has ghosts, witches, and an anti-hero serial killer (Rosenkrantz and Guildenstern, Polonius, the King); King Lear is horror all the way down; Midsummer Night’s Dream with malevolent supernatural entities messing with people and body horror; The Tempest with “cannibals”.
Shakespeare by way of Poe would be interesting to watch.
