Lawyer son loses trademark fight with lawyer dad, can't use own name for firm

Would “Fired by Sink Law Firm” be an acceptable name in South Carolina?

Oh come on, he needs to name his firm “Swim”.

Imagery is close…

Why choose when it could be both?

The subtle jab: George Kitchen Jr.

And then start attending the ‘Kitchen family reunions’, throwing lavish parties for the Kitchen family. I’m sure they have much more fun there then with the Sinks.

Let them fight.

I hope the kid gets to choose the nursing home.

The best response is success.
The son should name his firm “Swim”. Then use “It’s your choice to sink or Swim.”

Creativity works.

Q: Why are both those guys wearing ties in the photo?
A: It keeps their foreskins down.

Why only one?

B: The judge quite rightly did not say the son can’t practice under his own name. He did say that he has to do more to make it clear that he is not his father.

How about: “George Sink Jr. The one being sued by his dad”
or
“George Sink Jr. I didn’t give my kid the same name as me, but if I had, I wouldn’t sue him over it”
or
“George Junior, all cases against assholes dads are no win-no fee!”

“Good lawyer” is an oxymoron.

The ones that work for the Innocence Project are probably OK, but yeah.
