(excerpts)
The pop-and-lock dancing routines came naturally to Leo, maybe because he was on the verge of abandoning his acting profession to pursue a career as a breakdancer when he was younger.
Leonardo DiCaprio isn’t a trained dancer, but the moves you see on display? All him.
“They were in my toolbox,” DiCaprio told MTV News, laughing at the red carpet premiere for the film. “I haven’t brought them out of the toolbox in many decades, but they have been sitting there dormant.”
Leo is good, but once you notice the guy behind him in the brown tie you can’t look away.
So… what happened with the parachute, Leo!?!
Obviously it worked itself out.
Why is that so hard to believe? DiCaprio has been acting since he was a young child. There’s no doubt in my mind he’s had some kind of dance training before. He is a practitioner of method acting which means extreme preparation. And, of course, he’s a very very good actor.
I can identify with the dance moves of purple tie guy to Leo’s right.
Isn’t that “schooner” from mallrats?
Just like I identify with the guy in the white coat in Blazing Saddles
