My hope is that it is slightly short of outright hostile. Not so much so that it’s obviously a joke, but enough that people aren’t in on the joke.

hostile

Alas I fear it will be very subtle and placid.

Anything to try and make vinyl more interesting, I guess.

I mean…my laptop keyboard does color shifting if I choose to turn on the software. This isn’t a new concept.

Limited edition of 50? Still doing the manufactured-scarcity-to-bump-up-the-price thing, eh? I thought we’d moved beyond that to claiming an infinitely reproducable product is unique. The price can be jacked up on that an order of magnitude and you don’t have to retrofit any turntable mechanisms with frosted plastic casings and coloured LEDs

The video is being sold seperately as an NFT.

His wall artworks are half decent I think. Why shouldn’t a musician want to create physical objects as well?

Hopefully Eno won’t go full on GAMING PC LED ASSAULT™!
Bought a gaming PC for a project that needs some real CUDA core grunt and that was the only way to get a RTX3080 (ok ok I got the RTX version cuz it’s my first PC in like 15 years and I want to play some sweet Windoze gamez). The lighting on that beast is hideous and the very first thing I did was disable the LEDs, cover all the weird stickers, logos and glowy bits with electrical tape… ahhhh much better!

The damn thing throws off so much heat I use it to warm my office in the winter.

What happened to painting a trompe l’oeil window on the back of the monitor then? Enjoy.

I wonder if they at least include the cartridge.
