Thank you for the inspiration you and your husband provided me as a young boy. My love of science stems from the era of planetary exploration and the plaques included on those missions were a big part of that.

Tangentially related, but I heard Ann Druyan once, relating how while she was carrying on an affair with Carl Sagan during the time he was married to the above mentioned Linda Salzman Sagan, they had the idea to include a record of her electroencephalogram on the golden record. My reaction was “Wow. This was really peak 1970s.”
