INSANE! Holy cow, awesome stuff!
From ceramics… wow. I can’t tell if each pixel is made independently or the whole thing is moulded… maybe in parts, and then painted.
If I were going to try and attempt this, I would roll out flat sheets of colored clay, cut it into strips and assemble them…
The language evolution is fascinating - pixel originated from the electronic realm (iirc the blocky structure of videos in the 1960s) and is now a well-understood word in the real world and nearly as often used as Lego-like.
But anyway, I was mostly reminded of a XKCD.
