With the limited space for the tea to expand and not holes to give significant water flow, this type of infused is best for CTC (Crush, Tear, Curl) black tea or possible a small particle herbal Tisane. A whole leaf tea (especially an oolong) would not steep properly with such limited space.
That’s what I found, it didn’t steep the tea well. But it is SO FUCKING CUTE! The cuteness is worth what I paid (not full price) but it’s a decoration more than a useful object.
