This was a short-lived series on ABC in 2017, starring Ned the Dog and the talented Alison Tolman (Fargo), which was itself based on an earlier web series, which was not filmed in the execrable portrait format.
To correct myself, this is the earlier web series, changed to the vertical format. Also, the original episodes are much longer.

I remember this was a show on ABC. I was really excited for it but it fell flat. The dog says the word “like” nearly every other word. Drove me nuts.
