Ummmm… this is a feature, not a bug.
In all seriousness, the way streaming services (and social media sites) have set up their compensation model, I’m surprised this isn’t happening all the time.
I guess the AI-generated music is somehow registered as being by some other artist, so that’s how the artists are being ripped off (a la Tom Waits suing Frito-Lay for a Waits soundalike.)
So then if you’re listening to a Beatles stream, you’re going to hear some “Beatles” song you’ve never heard before? Or I guess all these fake streamers he created will “hear” the fake song and nobody else? Because some super-fan of an artist will know when they hear even a well-executed fake.
