If finds racist and sexist shit and shitlords of all varieties swoop in to turn this impressionable mind into a megaphone for their misanthropy of all stripes.
And then the AI learns and repeats the shit.
That’s quite an achievement!
But still in denial about what a cess pool the culture on the internet has become.
But like… I couldn’t tell the difference between the AI’s tweets and the comments on Breitbart. Nearly identical… Except the AI has better grammar.
It’s not Microsoft’s fault… That IS the internet.

In this case, you need to separate the actual chatbot R&D from the public twitter feed. The latter was only ever a publicity stunt, and as such should be removed if it’s causing bad publicity; the former can continue unhindered behind closed doors.
