I was lucky enough to be chosen to attend the old NASA Tweetups for this launch. Hearing the scientists talk about it was super cool.
We even managed to see the rocket fuselage in the ULA building that was to launch Curiosity later on.
I’m glad Juno is still up there giving back so much science data.

Love the poster - although I don’t favour the brave astrotourists’s chances under the bombardment of Jupiter’s radiation belts.
It’s something of a miracle Juno’s electronics have lasted so long given the constant assault from the immense amounts of radiation trapped around the planet which the probe is constantly dipping in and out of. Once again, NASA’s engineers leave me in awe.
