Motorcyclists 27x more likely to die than auto drivers

That’s a great story. How old was she?

Is riding a motorcycle a pre-existing condition?

It might be in Cheeto Fingers’ America

Thank you!

I used to teach basic motorcycling for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation, and their numbers confirmed that a teenager just learning to ride is the most likely to crash. Followed closely by a retired man coming back to motorcycling after a 30-some-year hiatus. (There was no data on how much of that was due to equipment changes in the intervening time versus misplaced confidence.)

You’re welcome, but I feel that what I am doing is simple common sense. Bikes have much higher acceleration than cars (especially mine, which is fuel-efficient but not sporty at all) and take little space (except in turns), so that they can pass me easily and be gone. Letting them pass is little effort. I am just trying to make the road more usable for all.
