God bless each and every one of them, and I’m not particularly religious either.
I am, however someone who was hearing impaired. I say I was because my condition was reversed over the last 9 years. I considered learning ASL as my condition will worsen over time but put it off thanks to medical science.
This has given me the drive to learn ASL, even if it’s just to say hi to someone who can’t hear.
This warns my cold, dead heart.
