Still, with manhole cover theft as “a thing”, like brick theft in places like St. Louis, I wish them luck in keeping them safe.

Of course, there will almost certainly be some people who are upset at the idea of taking all this taxpayer money earmarked for COVID relief and spending it on vanity sewers.

Though sewer systems did prove to be a useful tool for tracking COVID-19 outbreaks.
