Lacking a weird thing that just happened to me thread I’ll leave this here.
Minutes ago I heard a slight pop and the light suddenly became very bright. The glass dome from the ceiling light fixture somehow came loose and fell to the tile floor mere inches in front of me, shattering into a zillion pieces.
The following may be TMI 
It was fortunate that I was -ahem- seated on the pot and finishing up my business when it happened, else I might have shit my pants.
