Citation needed - “30 seconds of sunlight on your butthole is equivalent to a full day of sun with your clothes on”. I call bullshit!

Right? If you have clothes on, your butthole won’t enjoy ANY sunshine!

“There are not many prominent examples of technology companies fleeing the US for fear of political restrictions, and RISC-V, though influential, is only a small example. The notion that the US is no longer the best location for open source, however, could have far-reaching consequences.”

The number of human beings who are attractive nude is vanishingly tiny. For the vast majority of us (me at the top of the list) clothing is a service to society and should be highly valued by our fellow human beings.

The theory is that when white people were first raiding the world for spices, they were seen as rare expensive things for royalty and nobility only. Then they became more and more available, so eventually the rich people declared spices passe and said they wanted their food to taste like what it was supposed to taste like. I don’t think there’s much truth to that though.

I don’t care, I’ve got more spices in my kitchen than actual food, so I’m happy.

TIL: Raspberry Pi is involved in the RISC-V Foundation. I wonder if we’ll start seeing a Pi that isn’t ARM-based in the near future?

(I have several Pis from several generations around my house, for what it’s worth.)
