Odd Stuff (Part 1)

It’s 2019 so, of course, this Wells Fargo employee accused of stealing customer cash posed with wads of dosh on Instagram, Facebook

Silly guy, talk about a wasted opportunity. He’s obviously got the right mindset - if only he had had the vision to think big he’d be on the fast track to upper management by now.

Opening would destroy both the artwork’s aesthetic integrity and it’s resale value.
Although I guess you could just as well turn that into an iconoclastic performance.

Courtesy of Irish comedy legend Dave Allen:

"I walked into a pub, and on the way in I stepped in a pile of dog shit, slipped and landed on my arse. I got up, dusted myself off and continued to the bar.
A few minutes later a big man is walking into the pub and steps in the same pile of dog shit and also falls over. I motioned to the pile of shit by the door and said “I just did that!” and he punched me in the face!"

My bet is yes, with the adversarial approach people are taking toward the homeless these days. Several times I have not been allowed to use the restroom at restaurants in San Diego due to what they perceive as a problem (instead of a lack of public restrooms), and I was a customer.

Saudi Arabia and “88,000 accounts engaged in spammy behaviour across a wide range of topics”

"Our investigations have traced the source of the coordinated activity to Smaat, a social media marketing and management company based in Saudi Arabia. Our in-house technical indicators show that Smaat appears to have created, purchased, and/or managed these accounts on behalf of — but not necessarily with the knowledge of — their clients. We have permanently suspended Smaat’s access to our service as a result, as well as the Twitter accounts of Smaat’s senior executives. Smaat managed a range of Twitter accounts for high-profile individuals, as well as many government departments in Saudi Arabia. "

Visual Studio isn’t even an Electron app (vscode is). If you do Android or other mobile development it’s probably having to update emulator images and such.
