When I saw that artist’s animation my first thought was that after a long time Wile E. Coyote had bought enough ACME rockets to blast himself into space. [He was trying to enlist Marvin the Martian’s help with the Road Runner but miscalculated his trajectory.] I could almost hear the whistle – thud despite, you know, negligible atmosphere.
Same seems to happened in Finland and all over Europe if Twitter is to believed.

I was seeing glitches in Discord this morning (the outage was underway when I got up at 6am), but it seems to have cleared up now.
