Odd Stuff (Part 2)

Well, we already knew they were masturbating, but I guess they were doing that back at the office, too.

I didn’t even think of that angle.
And in this context, what is “company time,” in a work from home scenario, and is the “company” boosting pay to employees for making use of their “personal space” for “company business”…?

Working in Antarctica, especially at McMurdo, the whole place is your workplace, and you have no time or location when you are allowed expectations of privacy, or to behave in ways the NSF might object to. Companies seem very locked into the idea that work must occur between certain hours, even if those hours are not the ones in which workers can be most productive. I once finished up all of my assigned tasks and them some and was on my out the door when my boss said “you owe me another 15 minutes.” I was an hourly employee, so once I was off the clock she wasn’t paying me. But she still believed that my day was hers between 0400and 1400.
If the work gets done, who cares if it happens at 0900 or 1830?

My experience of time in the work place shows that people in the office are having sex, dating, taking naps and doing side hustles on company time.

Genius. I do hope the signs are détourned, not just shopped.

Maybe change the number to a dental clinic.

Unexpected. The Ayn Rand collaboration always seemed more likely.

I never knew there actually was a screenplay…
Unless I’ve overlooked it the article doesn’t mention which archive the screenplay survived in - I wonder if there would be more interesting stuff in it.

There is an interesting paper on Das blaue Licht by Hanno Loewy:
Das Menschenbild des fanatischen Fatalisten
Oder: Leni Riefenstahl, Béla Balázs und DAS BLAUE LICHT
