The nearly full Moon is rising, but it’s a very dark red. Possibly caused by Earth’s partial shadow, but it’s too evenly shaded. I also noticed that the afternoon sunlight had a sunset coloration too.
I guess it’s high altitude smoke from those other burning provinces.

Yep, looks pretty orange here too, assuming its the same moon.

This is one of the most colorful moons of the year because it takes a shallow, low path across the sky. The moonlight that is then forced to travel through the Earth’s atmosphere gives the moon its yellow or orange tint. So the moon will have a golden hue to it, not really a strawberry pink or red
