I had a roommate like that, incapable of getting his own food or beer from the kitchen, was always getting his gf to provide him with sustenance.
ETA: also reminds me of kids being unable to negotiate a sandwich with crusts.

I lived in Pomona [inland from El Lay] for a while, and the best part was seeing the crows fly out of the city into the mountains at sunset every evening. I’d go out on the roof and watch them. Sometimes they’d look at me as they flew past. I’d say hello, wish them safety, and sweet dreams.
