You should be able to swipe any media from any device to any screen or projector. Chrome Cast comes close to a fraction of that experience.

Exactly. There’s no universe where you can refund 100% of backing funds without income from somewhere. So unless the makers were millionaire philanthropists… someone got paid. And they got paid way less than what it would have cost the ‘industry’ if the sheeple got a taste of how wonderful life is with out DRM in the world.

Piracy… oohhhh, such a bad word. I pirate media. Do you know why? Because after I futzing buy it from Apple, I can’t watch it on my projector, or even my secondary monitor. People like to and want to pay for media (I do all the time) but don’t want to carry corporate executive’s luggage in doing so.
