The flip side to this question might be: “How many pubescents volunteer to grow body hair?”
Personally, I just feel better waxed. I don’t spend a lot of time staring at myself down there, but I like to feel comfortable and the difference is always noticeable. It also seems more hygienic to me. But I am not fussy about whether or not other people have hair.
My main hair peeve is when people curl straight hair or straighten curly hair. Not their pubes, on their head, of course! Although that would bother me too.
