This is a mostly wonderful thing!

Thoughts:

  1. Did she have to modify the violin to rest properly against her chin? Since gravity isnt there to help keep it stable it would be more prone to slipping.
  2. I presume that she recorded her piece independently and the other groups were playing along to a pre-recorded video. Otherwise the lag would be atrocious.
  3. I am very glad that they chose a musical ensemble from Haiti given the smearing that has been floating around certain circles for a while now.

This is a wonderful thing indeed. And perhaps the most wonderful thing was seeing people from Haiti and Venezuela – two countries whose people have suffered horribly – represented among the musicians. More of this in the world, please!
