Sounds like a government being a government. This will never stop as long as people see it as an abuse of power by an individual politician, rather than a reflection on the legitimacy of the entire power structure that perpetrated that abuse on his behalf.

I’m guessing at least half of them are looking at ways to get Nigeria’s version of cyber-stalking laws implemented in the USA
