You’re more right than you know. I definitely consider Francis to be the Obama of Popes. People think he’s going to change stuff, but really he just gives off good-guy vibes and puts a nice accessible face on what we already have.
If I still believed Jesus was divine, this Pope would get me back into the Catholic fold. As it is, I like him and love my adopted Unitarian Universalist faith.

Pretty clear that is not at all what the Pope is saying but, hey, headlines.
The Pope is saying that as a Catholic you are failing your mission to spread the Gospels if you are claiming to be a Catholic and acting like an amoral greedy thug. To someone outside of the Church, looking in at such hypocrisy, why would they think to hear more?
