i vividly remember the summer i had chicken pox as a kid. i spent it quarantined at my grandma’s cabin, reading old Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines. i especially loved the column where people reused stuff to do clever, thrifty things around the house, and of course those wacky ideas and inventions people came up with. i think he’s right – maybe we need a new version of those. good stuff!
The Scarfolk Public Library has subscribed for sure!
Yeah - that was what immediately came to my mind - whereas Scarfolk is 70’s-stuck, I thought this might be the US’s Scarfolk equivalent by being 50’s-stuck.
I just got my review copy in the mail and it’s flipping fantastic!! It’s laugh out loud funny. Do recommend.
