Possible PBBB laptop RPG game

Probably not til about January 3 or 4 for me. So yeah.

Iā€™m ready to rock a dungeon.

Iā€™m ready as well. Iā€™d try to write up something, but I donā€™t really know how to without accidentally taking over. Once a couple of others check in (@nimelennar @Mitchell @William_George @daneel), if no one else takes lead, maybe Aronn could get us moving again.

Where we left things:

My D&D history compels me to say that the party healer gets as much rest time as they want.

Iā€™m ready to go whenever the rest of you are.

Again: how much rest time is Hawk taking, and are the rest of you just sitting around while that happens?

As much as the others are willing to give him.

Assuming we need to pick this lock too?

@discbot roll 3d6 lockpicking check

@daneel the 3d6 dice reads: 6 lockpicking check (2,3,1)

Iā€™ll take it. Could have done with that last time, though.

So yeah, Thwip is trying his darnedest to see the rest of the hallway. If he can heā€™ll tell the others what is ahead of them.

Iā€™m sorry-not-sorry for the pre-dawn silliness of my post.

Okay: the Shield Rush is on target, and itā€™s a Deceptive Attack (-2 to your defence).

Jibril can retreat for a +3 to Dodge, giving a total Dodge of 10 (9+3-2). So, roll 10 or less on 3d6 to Dodge the charge. If you fail the Dodge, youā€™ll take some damage and probably be knocked off your feet, but itā€™s unlikely to cause serious wounding.

Thwip, the charge happens too fast for you to get a shot off before impact (unlike Nic and Ranar, Thwip doesnā€™t have the Combat Reflexes advantage). You can make a snap shot immediately afterwards if you want.

Marvellous stuff. Watch me roll 18.

@discbot roll 3d6, 10 or less to dodge charge.

@daneel the 3d6 dice reads: 9 , 10 or less to dodge charge. (3,4,2)

Heā€™ll take the shot as long as his aim remains clear of things like Jabrilā€™s head.

Assuming the other fighters move into melee as fast as they can I canā€™t see there being an easy line of sight in this hallway after that. So regardless of how things go with the snap shot, once Nic and Ranar move in, Thwip will fall back to protect Hawk and Aronn and wait for his opportunity.

Okay, folks; weā€™re obviously in fight mode again.

The combat turn sequence is:

Ranar
Jibril
Nicolas
Thwip
Hawk
Aronn
Guard

So, everybody: wotcha doing? As usual, Iā€™ll shift into GM-autopilot once I know what everybodyā€™s intentions are.

Iā€™d like to get around this guy and out of Nicā€™s way so he can cleanly engage.

Do I have any scope to try to get around his left?
(I upgraded my left-handed skills earlier, didnā€™t I? Can I effectively fight left handed and try to get around back towards the alcove?)
