Cute armadillo vid
It’s digging up those worms and grubs like a pig on truffles.
We put up our Weebles wooble but they don’t fall down Christmas tree.
The box is 56 years old, my dad built it so we could put my American Flyer train set under the tree. That train set hasn’t been out since cats have been in our house.
That’s a 20lb weight bolted through the box to the stand. A cat can take a running leap and it won’t fall over.
She wasted no time getting to it.
Mr. Feral got a major head start.
Poor Mr. Xuxu.
Last Sunday I had the impression the cat was a little hot. I touched his ears and noticed that they were very warm. My wife also noticed that he was sneezing and had a discharge running from his nose. The alert sounded and we took him to the vet. The doctor said that probably He’s got one of three common virus found in rescued cats that could cause symptons similar to the Flu… He is taking medicine and He looks well but a little sullen.
Often when cats get colds or other viruses that build up mucous in their noses and sinuses they will lose their appetites and eat less, sometimes a lot less, than usual, until they can smell better again. Usually it’s not that big a deal for them to be off their feed for a few days, unless there are other health concerns.
“Why did you bring me out into the cold weather instead of into the nice weather, human?”
He really liked the snow on the first round! He was frolicking and eating it and didn’t want to come inside. Now he’s just over it. Sorry, bud. We have a lot of winter ahead of us.
“Why did you not stop the snow when I was done frolicking in it human!”
Thank you very much. Muito obrigado.
We are still getting used to the cats. Since they live indoors, we spend more time with them and notice every little thing they do. I noticed that he was hotter than usual. My wife noticed that he sneezed more and looked like he was trying to regurgitate a hairball. The vet told us that he probably had mucus in his lungs and throat and was trying to get rid of that stuff.
Amazingly, he hasn’t lost his appetite. He just looks more tired and a little bored than usual. He seems to be slowly getting well. Next week I’ll take him to the vet again. She will evaluate the blood tests to determine the next steps. When he was brought into our home, we already knew that he had one or two health problems, as living on the streets can be very tough.
He has been quite a brave little kitten. He faced the visit to the veterinarian well and did not even complain when he was stung several times to collect blood for the tests… Perhaps he needs to undergo an ultrasound examination, as an examination previously carried out by the NGO that took care of him determined that he has problems with his liver, kidneys and intestines. Our vet said that depending on the exams, it may be that all this can be treated.
The hard part of the treatment is giving him the medication. The pill is easy enough, but the expectorant… Well, I’m trying…
Sugar sparkled dog! He is very beautiful. Good boy!
