According to memory alpha she is indeed… someone did the gif wrong…
The main reason I remembered that detail is that there was an episode in which Data confided to a crewmate that Spot came home in a family way and he had picked up enough human social cues to know it was a bit scandalous that he didn’t know who the father was.
