We’re in town for a couple days because our daughter is on a road trip down south.
We have to check on her cats every couple days. When I says we I mean my wife but I’m the chauffeur.
I got to see one of her ferals lounging in the sun
Not a photo, but good news (after the fact): the guy who tied his dog to a fence during the flooding has been arrested and could face jail time for his cruelty:
Trooper is a good looking doggo! i am glad they found the fool what tied him up in the rising water.
poor dog was gator bait like that. super not cool.
I was out earlier today by a park/river. Had quite a nice time sitting by the water, a grackle was staying near us and i got its attention making some similar calls back to it. He was kind of confused but interested in us
He later got closer
And got comfortable enough to get some water while watching us
And later we spotted a squirrel also getting some water. I wanted to get video but it got spooked by some people in the area
we had a very large branch fall out of a neighbor’s tree into our backyard. in the mess, this guy is looking all stunned, like “wha’ happen?”
he must have come down with the branch.
But did you offer him anything to eat or drink? How rude of you
mf’er eats my squash vines, my orchid flowers and long beans.
he doesn’t need any invitation!
in fact, i am placing the blame for the downed branch on this guy. he had to be up there fkin around, and >boom< ground floor!
they look cool AF, but we are not exactly friends.
The Swiss Valais Blacknose have been rubbing themselves against the red feeder while eating
“We just bought a new feeder and we just noticed their wool was gradually getting pinker and pinker,” Mr Nicholson said.
They KNEW what they were doing… these are rebellious punk sheep!
Sheep: You’re not my dad!
Reminds me of the “Shaun the Sheep” episode where the flock decided to take shearing day into their own hooves.
We take Mrs. Camping Kitty home for a couple days during the week. When we get back the RV takes a few minutes to warm up.
She know right where to go to stay warm for a bit.
