I don’t think he had the green bike yet when he had that old Mac.
1:26 is pretty close to 1:25, and from your Wikipedia link:
1:25 - This scale is also standard in most theatre design models used to represent set designs before being built
There may be some connection there. Here’s a Q&A with Alan Wolfson, the artist who builds them, talking about his other work:

And examples of his other work:
1:24 would seem a more obvious scale in the US. it corresponds to 1/2" = 1’ I have a scale rule with marking for that.
Who can account for the eccentricities of the artistic temperament?
On his website that I linked above he says that he prefers to work in 1:24, which as you say is better suited to the US.
I usually work in ½ in = 1 foot scale, which is half the size of dollhouse scale. The first few pieces I did were in dollhouse scale, but I decided to change to the smaller scale so I could build more intricate environments in the same-sized space. I also find the smaller scale more “intimate.” If I’m building a view out a window, that would be built at a smaller scale than the room interior to force the perspective.

I don’t know where the 1:26 scale mentioned in the ad came from - if he changed his standard approach for this project, or if it’s a typo.
The green bike (I believe it was a Klein Rascal originally, which was stolen and replaced for a while by a blue and white Cannondale before another green Klein, this time an Adroit, replaced that) first appeared in Season 3. The old Mac was still there. Watch https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7JPliFLgR8 starting at about 5.30 and you can see them both in the same scene.
Yeah, I saw an episode with the green Klein and the old Mac just yesterday. Did we ever see Jerry riding a bike or even mentioning it?
