We may not be able to fix this. I was hoping to troubleshoot it further but it’s clearly annoying quite a few of you in the interim! If I’m not able to correct it in the next few days, I will change that comment link to instead point to the root of bbs.boingboing.net instead. Thanks for your patience.

I was reluctant to use the nuclear option but if it’s bothering so many users I may have no choice and just update all “comments” links to point to the BBS homepage instead at this point.
