I actually kind of like that living in the DC area that the museums aren’t closed on Thanksgiving (they are for Christmas) because it means that I have them mostly to myself (and the mostly French for some reason handful of tourists out on that day).

Time is the question of course. That’s one of the tings that the working poor often don’t have nearly enough of (along with money, etc).
Also, I love Steven Wright.
Yup. Mail-in voting, with prepaid postage, is probably the most convenient method. I’ve been there and, fortunately, I’ve always been able to get to my polling station to vote. But mail-in would have been a lot easier and cheaper.
Also, I agree, Steven Wright is great.
