Well, don’t I wish you good luck with that? Haven’t I pretty much given up on politics this time around? Am I done voting for the least-worst candidate, not that there is one this time around? Aren’t I taking the rich coward’s way out?
Isn’t public sentiment against guns continuing to rise? Won’t the public voice out-shout the NRA’s money at some point? Isn’t it unlikely during this election cycle, but who knows? How many more disasters is it going to take? Didn’t I drive past the locations of three school shootings (Santana, Granite Hills, and Grover Cleveland) this weekend without even trying? Can’t almost anyone say the same thing? Is there anybody left who hasn’t been impacted in some way by random gun violence?
Did the Brits and the Aussies expect gun control even two years before it happened there?
I like to hold out hope, but when 20 kids were shot and nothing was done doesn’t the discussion change to “how many children need to be shot at the same time to be enough?” Don’t I read stories all the time about tens and fifteen kids being shot daily and think “well, it’s not greater than 20, too bad”?
I thought we had a chance to do the smart thing but I keep being shown how wrong I am, isn’t it enough to lose hope that things will change within ten years?
It is, but isn’t it the reality? How many are enough? >20.
Shitty answer, but isn’t that what the majority of the populace has decided? That 20 means that the people who are on the terrorist watch list can still get guns? We can pass all the legislation about protecting children from the sex offender list but nothing from the “let’s not shoot them” list?
Holy cow, did it really just drop from 102℉ to 75℉ in like 30 minutes here!? Won’t it be lovely to go out Pokémon hunting again once the rain clears and the humidity climbs?
